ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS
"It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows."
It takes a lot of work just to apply for the job seeker visa. You must be at least 18, and have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following fields – science, engineering, technical, or mathematics. It must be from a recognized university. The university and qualification must be H+ according to the Anabin University List. If your degree does not rank high enough, you can ask the German Central office for Foreign Education to evaluate your degree. This could take up to three months of time.
You must also have at least three years of work experience relevant to that education. It takes many years to even be eligible for the job seeker visa. Clearly, you’re in it for the long haul.
They also require you to be proficiently able to speak German. You must demonstrate good communication skills. You can try taking an A2 or A1 class to help your chances of obtaining the German job seeker visa.
STEP - 1
Keep in mind you need three sets of each of these documents. You need the original, plus two copies. Each document must be signed.
- A valid passport (issued in the past 10 years and valid for at least 12 months after your scheduled return).
- A copy of your passport’s data page.
- Birth Certificate (Apostile).
- PAN & Aadhar card.
- Passport pictures (5 no.s) with biometric specifications.
- 10th mark sheet and Certificate.
- 12th mark sheet and certificate.
- Diploma/ Degree mark sheet and Certificate.
- Experience Certificate from Current Employer and previous as well.
- Latest 3 months salary slips from Current employer.
- Appointment Letter from current employer.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- A cover letter and motivation letter where you explain the objective of your visit, how you plan to find employment, and your alternative career plans if you cannot find a job.
- Proof of accommodation in Germany (where you will be staying during your visit)
- Verpflichtungserklärung (formal obligation letter) by a sponsor living in Germany
- Bank account statement, or
- Blocked bank account.
- Bank Statement of Rs. 4. 5 – 6 Lakhs (Euro 8,000).
- Proof of your health insurance.
In order to fulfill the requirements, you have to prepare two sets of these documents and take them to your application centre.
Note that having all of these documents does not guarantee you will be granted the visa. The decision is entirely up to the consular officer.
The German embassy/consulate reserves the right to ask for additional documents. This applies –among others- for certain professions (e.g. Nurses, Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, Teachers).
STEP - 2
After gathering all the above documents, we will take appointment from Germany embassy for submission of file. Applicant will personally visit the Embassy for submission and Moreover embassy will take an interview regarding purpose of trip, previous & current employment, how u will find job in Germany etc. Applicant must have knowledge about the country, culture and job prospects in Germany according to his profile, he should satisfy the consulate for successful result of his visa application.
STEP - 3
It will take 30-40 days to make decision on the visa application by Germany Embassy.

What if my application is denied?
If your application is denied, you will not be able to look for work in Germany right now. Look for the reason your visa was denied and try to fix that problem if you can. You can apply again when you have solved the issue.
